Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner threw Violet a party to celebrate her seventh birthday on Saturday in LA. Violet brought her friends for her Build-a-Bear bash, and she was the center of attention in all pink. Among the guests were Jennifer Meyer and her daughter Ruby Maguire. The Meyer-Maguire and Garner-Affleck families also spent Halloween together at an event where both Violet and Ruby were dressed up as Dorothy. Jennifer has been in New Orleans filming The Dallas Buyers Club, though she made the trip back home to be there for her oldest daughter's birthday. Ben is also focused on his three kids — Seraphina, Violet, and baby Samuel — in between the honors that just keep rolling in. Ben was named one of Entertainment Weekly's entertainers of the year, and we'll be seeing just how many accolades Argo will earn when award season nominations kick off soon.

Kristen Stewart looked ladylike in a sheer dress at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences' fourth annual Governors Awards in Hollywood on Saturday evening. The Talbot Runhof gown, which featured see-through sections, was just her latest revealing outfit of the week. Kristen turned heads with her exposed bra at a Variety Studio event on Wednesday. Breaking Dawn Part 2 still sits atop the box office as we enter the competitive holiday movie release schedule. Kristen may finally be done promoting it, and while she weighs the options for her next project, she's focusing on her relationship with Robert Pattinson. Rob and Kristen made a quick trip to London together over the Thanksgiving weekend, and she's reportedly been working hard to keep things strong between them.

Reese also stopped to pick up an armload of magazines at the newsstand. Mindy, whose new show The Mindy Project quickly got a full-season pickup, has often gushed about her love of romantic comedies — especially those starring Reese. Perhaps the newfound friendship means they could collaborate on a future project or they just have a lot in common as powerful producers and actors. Either way, it's a nice girls day out for Reese, who has been spending most of her time with her family since they welcomed adorable baby Tennessee Toth in September.
