Matt and Luciana Damon stopped by a Starbucks in LA this morning and grabbed drinks to go. The Damon clan is apparently splitting their time between the East and West Coasts, and are reportedly renting an LA home. The home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood happens to be right near the mansion owned by his best friend, Ben Affleck! The pad is also proximate to San Diego, where Matt will attend Comic-Con later this month to chat about his sci-fi project Elysium. After Comic-Con, Matt will team up with an old friend, director Steven Soderbergh, as well as Michael Douglas, for their Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra.
It was less than six years ago that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got married in a fairy-tale ceremony in Italy. The couple rented out Odescalchi Castle, near Rome, to say their vows before family and famous friends like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, David and Victoria Beckham, as well as Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. For the Nov. 18, 2006 nuptials, Tom and Katie had a then 7-month-old Suri Cruise by their sides, along with Tom's children from his marriage to Nicole Kidman, 11-year-old Connor and 13-year-old Isabella. The bride wore Armani to say her "I dos." Today, though, we learned that Tom and Katie are divorcing. As we process the news, click through to see their special day.
Andrew Garfield had Emma Stone on his arm last night outside the LA theater where they premiered The Amazing Spider-Man. The on- and offscreen couple arrived to the latest stop on their worldwide press tour separately, with Emma wowing in an embellished Chanel gown and spiked Christian Louboutin pumps, but reunited inside. We were live on the red carpet to chat up the duo and their costars, including Sally Field, Rhys Ifans, and the adorable young actor who plays a younger version of Andrew's Peter Parker in the 3D film, Max Charles.
When we caught up with Andrew, he joked with us about Peter and Gwen Stacy's first kiss in the film, giving Emma a hard time for her less-than-coordinated moves. Britney Spears was back in her red Hervé Léger dress to shoot The X Factor in Providence, RI, today. It seems Brit was excited to get the ball rolling, as she posted on Twitter, "Just arrived for Providence Day 3 auditions! Let's go!" She was dressed down during a break, though, and was photographed having a cigarette with a friend. Later, she and fiancé Jason Trawick were together to head out from the studio. Britney's been in the Northeast for the past few days shooting new installments of the program alongside her fellow judges, Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, and Demi Lovato. The gang is sticking together for a while, and will head to Greensboro, NC, next to search for more talent on July 8.
Miranda Kerr went futuristic for a photo shoot in NYC today. She was decked out in a blond wig, shiny pants, and a sparkling top to pose for a spread reportedly bound for Vogue Italia. Later, she wore another bright outfit. Miranda got right to work following a date night with Orlando Bloom on Broadway at a performance of Peter and the Starcatcher. Miranda's Big Apple week has been a mix of work and play. She and Orlando have spent plenty of quality time out and about in the city with their son, Flynn Bloom. Orlando wasn't spotted on her set today, though, and Miranda recently confessed to getting nervous around him. Miranda told Harper's Bazaar UK that she often likes to work without Orlando around. She said, "[I] never really want Orlando to be there because it makes me nervous."
Andrew Garfield was the man of the hour at last night's LA premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man, and when we caught up with him on the red carpet, we asked him about his leading lady, Emma Stone.
