Kate Hudson arrived on set today in Andover, MA, for Larry David's HBO project Clear History. Kate was all smiles in front of the cameras while stylists stepped in to adjust her hair, makeup, and wardrobe between takes.

She's back on the East Coast following a recent trip to LA, where she partied with the cast of Glee to celebrate the show's fourth season. Kate made her debut on last week's premiere playing dance teacher Cassandra July to Lea Michele's character, Rachel Berry. While visiting California, Kate stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she shared a funny story about Bing's birth as well as her future wedding plans.

Jessica Simpson shared sweet photos of baby Maxwell Drew on her blog today. Mommy and daughter posed together during a recent backyard birthday celebration for Jessica's fiancé, Eric Johnson, who turned 33 on Sept. 15. Jessica tweeted, "last year at Daddy's party, Maxwell was in my belly. This year she's in my arms!"

The family's back in LA after recently spending some time on the East Coast. Jessica made her first postbaby appearances on Good Morning America and Katie, where she spoke about her impressive 40-pound weight loss with the help of Weight Watchers. She is also working hard to connect with new moms through a guest-blogging spot on iVillage, where she recently shared five ways that her life has changed since giving birth to Maxwell.

Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge have taken their baby daughter, Marlowe Sturridge, on her first vacation! The happy family were seen in Positano this week, showering each other in kisses over lunch and then hopping into a small boat en route to a larger yacht. Italy must be a special place for Sienna and Tom — it's also where Sienna and Tom took a May babymoon shortly before Marlowe was born. We had a first glimpse of Sienna Miller's daughter in August, about a month after Marlowe's birth in early July.

Newlywed Cobie Smulders celebrated the upcoming CBS season with her How I Met Your Mother costar Neil Patrick Harris last night in LA. She kept the bridal theme going by donning a white frock from Temperley London. Other CBS actors stepped out for the bash, too, including Sophia Bush, who has a new pilot Partners, Dennis Quaid, Sharon Osbourne, and more.

NPH was one of the famous guests at Cobie Smulders and Taran Killam's wedding, which took place earlier this month in Solvang, CA. Cobie and her longtime partner, Taran, a star of SNL, also welcomed HIMYM's Alyson Hannigan and Joe Manganiello, who's had a small recurring role on the show. We recently caught up with Cobie and NPH's small-screen leading man Josh Radnor, who told us what to expect in HIMYM's upcoming eighth season, which begins Sept. 24. Josh even alluded to there possibly being a ninth in the works.
