Letsnot be pretentious snobs here. Just because someone is famous doesn't mean they're an idiot who can't write a book. Portia's book was really good. You can't exactly judge a book about someones life. It is what it is.

This is what I posted but it only showed up on the Chelsea page. lol I have read all three of Chelsea's books and although they were funny, she frequently made reference to not eating. For a woman who says she loves bigger people and all things fat, she often writes about not eating. Of course these books are a rehashing of her youth but it is a little disturbing when she says she couldn't wait to see how great she looked after starving herself. If you want to ignore that, then yes, the books are a good quick read.

I certainly wouldn't spend any of my hard-earned cash buying any of them. That said - I might pick a few up at the library & read them... Boy! There a lot of celeb books out there & before any of them are dead. - Then again - What's better? A celeb writing it their way or someone doing it when the featured celeb can't complain, must less sue for defamation.

Haha, a lot of these were such jokes. Example: Jessica Simpson (YOU are divorced!! lol. Just saying), and pshhh Heidi and Spencer. Her tip to fame: get huge boobs and 9 other plastic surgery operations! That'll do the trick. I thought it was funny how Miley got 0% read. lol. Oh, and I LOVE Chelsea Handler! I read My Horizontal Life, it's hilarious =)
