I absolutely love the scent of roses, and using the aroma to scent my space leaves me feeling like I'm right in the middle of a big bouquet. This DIY is the perfect excuse for picking up fresh flowers for making a beautiful arrangement and then harvesting the petals for the air freshener. It's so simple and so pretty.

What You'll Need:

  • 6 roses
  • 1 pint mason jar
  • 2 cups baking soda
  • 5-10 drops rose essential oil
  • Fabric
  • Marker
  • Scissors

Directions:

  1. Place the baking soda in a small bowl and add the rose essential oil. Mix well, dispersing the scent.
  2. Now layer the flower petals along with the baking soda in the mason jar. It's OK if the petals aren't completely dried out, the scent and oils from the petals will absorb into the baking soda.
