Microwave brownies!
Who doesn't love brownies? Who doesn't love brownies that take under 20 minutes to prepare? I made these on the weekend and they're super yummy and really easy to make. The minimal cleanup doesn't hurt either :) I would provide pictures... but they're gone lol.
Picture without flash (with flash made the brownies look sparkly... kinda creeped me out):
Microwave brownies!
The Microwave Guide and Cookbook
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup chopped nuts
Directions
1. In small bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla for approx. 1 minute at medium speed.
2. Add melted butter and continue beating until thoroughly blended.
3. Mix in flour and cocoa at low speed.
4. Stir in nuts.
5. Spread evenly in greased 8-inch square dish.
6. Microwave on high for 6-7 minutes (it also tells you to turn the dish after 3 minutes... but I never do because I don't get the point).
When done, top looks try and will spring back when lightly touched. Cut when cold.
Makes 20 brownies (unless you cut really big brownies like me... then you'll have fewer brownies :) )
