NC BBQ Sauce

If you've ever eaten BBQ pork (pulled pork) in North Carolina, chances are you tried some of this awesome vinegar based BBQ sauce. I found this recipe on All Recipes and made it for tonight's BBQ sandwiches. It is the real deal!

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup white vinegar
    1 cup cider vinegar
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
    1 tablespoon Tabasco
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake well. Let sit in fridge for 2 days before using so that the flavors have time to mingle. Will last for up to 2 months in the fridge.
