Mark Your Calendars: Amazon's Prime Day Sale Is July 12

Shoppers, are you ready? Amazon's second annual Prime Day sale will be on July 12. Starting at midnight PDT, customers will be able to shop over 100,000 deals during the one-day event. According to Amazon, new deals from tech gadgets to TVs will be added as often as every five minutes throughout the day.

If you are wondering how real the hype is, the company said last year Prime members ordered about 398 items per second. Although there were a lot of shoppers, many also took to social media to vent their frustrations about the seemingly random deals. Here's hoping this year's selections will please online shoppers because Prime Day is basically Black Friday . . . in July.
