The Sweet Backstory Behind Charlotte Tilbury's New Lipstick Shade
Beloved celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury has added a new Matte Revolution lipstick to her already cult-classic lineup, and it was named by two of her biggest fans. (No, we don't mean Kate Moss.) Tilbury asked her followers on Instagram to submit shade names for a new peachy-pink, limited-edition hue coming out this Summer. The outcome ended in 22,000 entries, and she sifted through each one and decided on the winning name: Sunset Lover ($34), submitted by Teresa Centeno and Yael Bensemhoun. Like all Matte Revolution lipsticks, Sunset Lover's formula is creamy and applies like a dream in just a swipe. It was designed to mimic the colors in a Summer sunset and look great on all skin tones. The color is on sale today, June 21, and will be available exclusively on the brand's website — only until it sells out.
