Despite frequently switching up her hair color, Chrissy Teigen often gravitates toward the same caramel shade — sometimes lighter and sometimes darker. The model, outspoken mom, and multihyphenate recently made a more noticeable change when she dyed her hair strawberry blond.
On July 3, Chrissy shared a picture of herself on Twitter with the caption, "New color." In the picture, Chrissy holds up her dazzling ring-adorned hand as she looks surprised at her bright new hue.
The summery hair change was executed by Liz Jung of Mèche Salon in Los Angeles. Kevin Starr assisted the expert colorist. Liz later shared the same picture of her glorious work, as well as a Snapchat video of Chrissy in the salon chair being her usual self.
Based on the initial picture, Chrissy's new hair color can be compared to the sun-kissed apricot shade that's been trendy as of late. In a recent interview with POPSUGAR, celebrity colorist Kim Vo said the peachy blond color "adds a creaminess to skin tones and creates this sense of glowing illumination." We can't imagine a more fitting color for the Glow Face Palette queen.
