Deborah Lippmann Shows Off Her Fashion Week Nail Essentials

If you're a nail junkie, you're well aware of who Deborah Lippmann is — but if you aren't familiar, it's time you were acquainted. The legendary manicurist has painted the talons of many supermodels and celebrities (Lupita Nyong'o and Caitlyn Jenner are among her top clients), has a phenomenal line of nail polishes, and even finds time to moonlight as a jazz singer. But we most love her for her nail art creations backstage at Fashion Week.
This season, Lippmann teamed up with us for a 24-hour takeover of the POPSUGAR Beauty Instagram account. In addition to showing off the final looks at the Kate Spade and Jason Wu shows, she treated us to kit spills and shelfies. Read on to get a closer look at the behind-the-scenes action!

Lippmann used three shades to get this pearlescent manicure. We love how it practically glows from within!
Pretty Sweet
This sugary confection of a manicure took three shades to achieve. Lippmann layered her lacquers in Magic Is the Moonlight ($24), a color-shifting pearl, and Whatever Lola Wants ($18), a shimmering lilac, over Amazing Grace, a creamy white hue.
Perfectly Polished
The dreamy, cotton candy manicure is a perfect fit for the whimsical outfits at the Kate Spade presentation.
Jason Wu Essentials
For the chic nude manicure at Jason Wu, Deborah used her lacquer in Naked ($18) and added a high-gloss finish with the topcoat from her Gel Lab Pro duo ($45).
