Makeup artist Jordan Long used Giorgio Armani Eye & Brow Maestro ($34) to create a subtle winged liner look and fill in Michelle's arches.

Hairstylist Mara Roszak used a classic L'Oréal Paris Elnett Strong Hold Satin Hairspray ($14) to give this chignon hold. However, the star of this style was the Ana Khouri barrette shaped like a wishbone.

Kiernan pulled her hair back into a low chignon and kept her makeup soft and simple (very age-appropriate for a teen). Her stylist Bridget Brager set Kiernan's curls using Velcro rollers then spritzed Garnier Fructis De-Constructed Texture Tease ($3) on the ends before making miniature knots at the nape. Finally, it was all pinned up into this simple hairdo.

Gwen channeled Donatella Versace for her Emmys look, meaning stick-straight strands and dark eyeliner. Danilo, her stylist for the night, applied Pantene Advanced+ Keratin Repair KeraGloss Oil Mist ($14) before using the flat iron to give the look a supershiny finish.

The Mad Men actress swooped her fringe over to one side, while the rest of her mane was tucked into a neat chignon. Of course, with that jet-black hair, a soft pink was the best lipstick choice. The shade actually coordinated with her eye makeup, which was a lavender color called Chanel Ombré Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Hésitation ($30) mixed with other rosy hues.

Lena admitted her new blond locks are all hers! For this red carpet, she paired her light mane with a subtle pink lip stain and fully rimmed eyeliner. Makeup artist Jo Strettell used Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner ($23) on the upper and lower lash lines.

With Kristen's pale hair and blue eyes, the deep plum smoky eye was the best bet for her Emmys makeup. It was another moody lip look for Sarah at the Emmys. The young actress wore a doughnut-style topknot, bold brows, and a murky mauve lip hue. Christina played with the rules of red — meaning she broke all of them. She wore a crimson lip, a cherry-red dress, and auburn locks.
