The 1 Wavy Hair Product I've Used For a Decade Is Only $3

As a beauty junkie, I'm always on the search for the next product that will trump the ones already in my routine. However, there's one unbeatable hair product that I realized I've been using for nearly a decade: The Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves Wave-Enhancing Spray ($3).

At some time in early high school, I got sick of straightening my hair every day. I wanted to find a product that would help me embrace my naturally wavy texture. While perusing the drugstore, I stumbled upon this spray and chose it because it cost $3 and said "waves," and I haven't turned back since.

The Wonder Waves spray lets me air dry my hair without it becoming a frizzy mess. After I step out of the shower and brush out my hair, I split my hair in half from the back of my head and place each side in front of my shoulders. Next, I twist the two sections away from my face and spritz with the product. When it dries, I have loose, breezy waves.

If I don't have time for my hair to dry before going to bed, I simply braid my hair and spray the Wonder Waves on my braid to make sure it keeps a defined but smooth texture. Both methods give me styled hair without damaging my locks from heat and they save me valuable time in the morning (usually filled by hitting the snooze button).

A lot of beach and wavy sprays make my hair feel crunchy or sticky, which I can't stand. I love that this one is light hold and is filled with microwaxes to define and separate my waves while keeping them soft. This might be the beauty product I've been most loyal to in my entire cosmetics-filled life, and I hope to never have to go without it.
