Kristen Stewart Just Won the Eye Shadow Game at the 2016 Met Gala

Kristen Stewart is known for wearing edgy-chic eye makeup (she is a Chanel spokeswoman, after all), but her 2016 Met Gala look may be our favorite to date. She interpreted the technology theme by rocking a futuristic silver sheen around her eyes in a geometric shape. It was juxtaposed by black eyeliner and mascara.

The eye makeup look was created by Jillian Dempsey for Chanel. "We definitely went a little stronger tonight; it was an antiprecious kind of look," she said of her inspiration. "We wanted it to have the feeling of technology and still be pretty." To get the look, she used Stylo Eyeshadow Fresh Effect Eyeshadow in Vert Grisé and the silver shade from Quadra Eyeshadow in Tissé Ombre de Lune. She really pressed the pigments into the skin using a flat nylon brush to get a metallic effect. The upper and lower lashlines were accented with Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Ébène and then smudged out for a "worn-in feel."

Her bleached hair was pulled back in effortlessly cool textured knots and a defined side braid. The deconstructed style was created by Adir Abergel for Pai-Shau. Keep reading to see more images of her eye-catching style.
