Sometimes lip gloss gets a bad rap — it's too sticky, wears off too fast, and gets messy in your purse. Lancome has heard your qualms and consequently created the next level of gloss, Lip Lover ($23). The new lip products offer line-smoothing benefits and eight hours of moisture. Oh, and then there are the colors, which are saturated without having that cakey look. I'm a fan of the bolder shades, but there are 18 hues to pick from, whether you want a neutral or a hot pink. Also, the packaging is a little bit of genius with a click button to release the top (read: don't try to unscrew this) so that there's no accidental leakage in your makeup bag while you're on the run.
