As someone with incredibly dry lips, I've tried a shameful number of different lip balms and have asked everyone I know for recommendations. Throughout the years, I've discovered my trusty tube of Homéoplasmine and fallen in love with the ever popular Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, but they were never just quite as good as I wanted them to be. However, after years of trial and error, I have finally found the one.

It was during a trip to France — as I was excitedly rummaging through the shelves of a pharmacy — that I came across this little pot called Nuxe Rêve de Miel ($16). Nuxe was a brand that I had heard of in the past, but I'd never had the chance to try anything from their range and wasn't really sure what to expect from this cute-looking lip balm. To my surprise, its consistency was soft and creamy, and although it wasn't nearly as thick as my other go-tos, it felt incredibly moisturizing thanks to a list of great active ingredients such as honey, vitamin E, and shea butter. The smell was divine (and boyfriend approved!), the product wasn't too sticky, and the following morning, I was amazed to see that some of it was still on my lips. After I wiped it off, I was left with the softest pout I had ever had, and any sign of flakiness were completely gone. Needless to say, I have since been raving about it to anyone who will listen, and I am yet to find someone who doesn't like this little miracle worker.

So there you have it. As annoying as it may be, we have to say merci to the French for yet another beauty product that's totally worth the hype.
