Kate Middleton has been known to inspire trends season after season. And it turns out that being a muse runs in her family — Kate's 9-month-old daughter, Princess Charolotte, was on the minds of the creative team at Marc Jacobs Beauty when they designed a new pink lipstick shade.
The color "Charlotte" is part of the Le Marc Lip Crème line, which just launched in the United Kingdom exclusively at the department store Harrods. To celebrate the overseas extension, the team added the rosy pink "Charlotte" to the lineup. The Crème line, which is a collection of long-wearing, hydrating lipsticks, already includes cheekily named products that pay homage to other Marc favorites, like "Oh Miley" Cyrus and "So Sofia" Coppola.
None of the products, though, have that fun royal tie-in. The "Charlotte" is already getting tons of play in the press — and might just be a favorite among shoppers, too.
