Rihanna received the highest honor at this year's MTV Video Music Awards: The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. In celebration of her big win, she performed not once, but four times throughout the show, each time rocking a very different beauty look. Look 1
Rihanna wore one of her go-to looks for her first performance: a high pony and a matte red lip. Yusef straightened her strands with the GHD Platinum Styler ($249), then added MOP Mixed Greens Leave-In Conditioner ($22) into the star's updo to keep it looking polished.

For this style, Rihanna wore a long, veil-like do-rag, faux shaved brow, and ultraglossy lips.

Rihanna brought back this mullet-esque wig for her third performance of the evening, pairing it with a dramatic olive-green cat eye.
Look 4
For her final look at the show, Rihanna wore a matte oxblood lip, slicked-back strands, and a taupe smoky eye. Morales used Chanel Limited Edition Rouge Allure Velvet Intense Long-Wear Lip Colour in Rouge Audace ($37) for the star's brooding pout and darkened it even further with a black eye pencil.
