Not only is Scream Queens one of our favorite shows on TV for its cheeky and suspenseful plots, but it also has amazing beauty and fashion inspiration (like the best we've seen since Gossip Girl). Though the series aired its season finale on Dec. 8, the hairstyles can live on thanks to these exclusive tutorials created by the show's stylist Jennifer Johnson. Don't be surprised if you find yourself wearing a daring new look — like earmuffs as a headband!

The character: Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts)
Her hair look: Sleek waves with half ponytail
Johnson's tips: Before drying your hair, apply a lightweight serum or oil like Hask Shine Oil ($3) to add extra sheen and protect against the heat. Once hair is completely dry, curl hair using a 1-inch curling iron. Brush the curls out a bit so you are left with more of a wave than a curl. Create a deep side part and then pin each side back in the center of the head. If desired, you can twist each side as you pull it back for a little more polish.

Her hair look: Sleek waves with clip
Johnson's tips: I love this look for the holidays, and it's super simple! Before drying your hair, use a volumizing product like Hask Mint Almond Root Thickening Spray ($6) and then dry hair using a diffuser to enhance hair's natural body. Once hair is dry, use a 1-inch curling iron or wand to curl small sections of hair all around the head. Let the curls cool for a minute and then gently brush through them to loosen the wave. Spray with a light-hold hair spray and then gently gather one side of the hair and pull it back, securing it with an embellished hair pin — the more sparkle the better for the holidays!

Her hair look: Curls with earmuffs
Johnson's tips: This is a perfect style for cold weather when you actually have to wear a hat or earmuffs outside. Start with dry hair and curl small sections of hair using a 1-inch curling iron or wand. For this look I wouldn't recommend brushing out the wave since you want a more defined curl, but I would break the curls apart a bit with your fingers to add a little more volume. Using your fingers, gently rake back the front part of the hair and then add on the earmuffs as you would a headband for the final touch.

Her hair look: Voluminous ponytail with rope braid
Johnson's tips: Apply a leave-in conditioner to wet hair to release any tangles, and then dry hair with head tipped upside down using a round brush for extra volume at the root. Once dry, spray hair with a light texturizing spray to create extra body and then gather all hair into a ponytail at the crown of the head. Section out a small piece of hair and wrap it around the base of the ponytail and secure with a pin to hide the hair tie. Use a dab of oil on the ponytail for extra shine, and then separate the pony into three sections. Twist each section and then create a basic three-strand braid. Finish with hair spray to tame any flyaways.

Johnson's tips: This style is all about the blowout! Spritz wet hair with Hask Express Blow Dry Spray ($7) to lessen drying time and then section off hair leaving out only the bottom portion to start. Using a boar bristle round brush (for extra shine!), dry small sections of hair starting from root to tip. For extra body and that coveted curl at the end, when hair is dry but still warm, wrap small sections in velcro rollers and let it set while you do your makeup or pick out your outfit. Remove the rollers, flip hair upside down, apply a drop of shine oil for extra gloss, and you've got a sleek, polished look.

Johnson's Tips: If you aren't blessed with natural ringlets, fake it by using a half-inch curling iron, and wrap small sections of hair around the entire head. Once all the hair is curled, spray with Hask Controlled Curls ($6) to help hold the shape. Add a hat for a cute touch!
