If you call yourself a glitter lover and have yet to try Stila's incredible liquid shadow, Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow ($24), you no longer have any excuse for resisting it: the brand is extending its shade range to include three mermaid-inspired hues. That's right — your lids can now shimmer like a sea siren's tail.

Let's back up for a second. As we we explained when the range first launched, the Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eye Shadow is magical, and that's because of the formula. Fans of the brand's Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick know that this is basically an eye version of that budge-proof product. As soon as you glide the sparkles across your skin, the cream base dries down completely (no stickiness or greasiness like other cream shadows). And, even better, glitter won't drift from your lids onto your cheekbones — this formula stays put!

Considering the incredible popularity of holographic makeup in recent months, it makes perfect sense that Stila would take this beautiful product to the next level by making it available in three shades fit for an aquatic goddess. There's Sunset Cove, a golden pink hue that looks like the first light of a dawning sun; the aptly named Sea Siren is an iridescent blend of pink and blue that reminds us of cotton candy; and the last shade, Into the Blue, which mimics the sapphire, gold, and purple tones of an ocean hit with glints of sunshine.

Gently dab on a light layer of your favorite tint for a sheer, magical wash of color, or really pack on the pigment for a fin-tastic, high-wattage glow akin to that of a mermaid's tail. These shades also really pop over powder shadows (we're particularly fond of the depth that Into the Blue creates on a black smoky eye).

Before you snag them for yourself from StilaCosmetics.com on March 1 (they'll be on Sephora's site later that month), keep reading! We have swatches of all three hues on four different skin tones, as well as GIFs of the colors so you can see them really sparkle.
