Sure, Zendaya arrived at Monday evening's Grammy Awards in Los Angeles rocking a daring hairstyle she created with a CHI hair tool and products and wearing a double-breasted Dsquared2 power suit. But what really stood out to us? That, of course, was Zendaya's makeup.
Zendaya's beauty look was restrained and sophisticated — and believe it or not, she did it herself. A relatively new member of the CoverGirl family, Zendaya was excited to take the products for a test drive.
The young Hollywood It girl wrote a lenghy, detailed product breakdown, which the brand shared with us. And it's safe to say that, when it comes to makeup, Zendaya knows what she's talking about. Read on to see exactly what products she used — and how she used them!
Eyes
And she finished her eyes with CoverGirl Plumpify BlastPro Mascara in Black ($12). "This mascara gives loads of volume by lifting the lashes from the root, making them stand out more," Zendaya wrote. "I always finish any look by grooming my brows — it's key!"
Complexion
Zendaya used CoverGirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup in Toasted Almond ($10) on her complexion once she was done with her eyes. Her technique is to apply foundation at the center of her face, and to work out from there.
CoverGirl TruBlend Blush ($10) was the final step for Zendaya's complexion. "The end look is flawless, yet my skin shines through and I don't feel overly made up," she wrote.
Lips
"No look of mine is ever complete without a touch of color on the lips," Zendaya wrote. She reached for CoverGirl Colorlicious CoverGirl Oh Sugar! Lipstick in Caramel ($7).
Zendaya added CoverGirl Colorlicious Jumbo Gloss Balm Creams, Caramel Cream 280 ($9) for "a final touch."
