If there's one celebrity we can always rely on to provide us with some hair envy, it's Alicia Keys. We've seen her wear floor-length ponytails during television appearances and rhinestone-studded baby hairs at award shows, and after seeing one of her more recent looks, we're ready to immediately add it to our lineup of protective styles to round out the summer with.
The singer released her all-new, Khalid-assisted music video for "So Done" last week, and in it, she's seen wearing her hair in dreamy jumbo twists that flow down her back. The style was created by celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims, who frequently works with names like Gabrielle Union and Kerry Washington. Sims created the look by parting Keys's hair off into large triangular sections and tying them into mini ponytails before adding prestretched braiding hair and twisting them up. He also used products from Flawless by GU, the natural hair brand that he cofounded with Union, to style Keys's natural hair and hold it in place.
