The 2023 BET Awards have only just begun and are already turning out on the beauty front. As our favorite celebrities hit the red carpet on Sunday, June 25, in Los Angeles, our eyes are peeled for the best hair, makeup, and nail looks of the evening. Though the night is still young, we're already impressed. How could we not be? With a nominee list of names like Beyoncé, Drake, Lizzo, SZA, The Weeknd, Cardi B, and many more, we know the stars, and their respective glam teams, are going to pull out all the stops.
If last year is any indicator, there will be plenty to look forward to. At the 2022 BET Awards, we were instantly mesmerized by Billy Porter's avant-garde makeup look and saw quite a few stars — including Lizzo, Chlöe, Halle Bailey, and Taraji P. Henson — wearing chrome nails, making us wonder what the manicure of the moment will be this year. Other standout looks from last year's show included Janelle Monáe's sky-high, wire-wrapped bun; Marsai Martin's soft, sultry makeup; and Lizzo's perfectly styled baby hairs.
