I Tried Covey's 3-Step System, and It's Perfect For a Skin-Care Minimalist Like Myself

I am a big skin-care person, but through years of trying out all different kinds of routines, I've found that most of the time, less is more. My day and nighttime routine are each about four steps total, and nothing is that complicated. The basics are cleanser, serum, and moisturizer, with sunscreen in the morning and makeup remover at night. My skin is sensitive and combination, so I have to be very careful with the products I use. I've been curious about trying Covey's three-step system, and in short, I love it.
The kit comes with the First of All Cleanser, the Next Up Vitamin C Serum, and the Last But Not Least Moisturizer. The cleanser is a gel consistency and is surprisingly thick; a little goes a long way here. It's gentle on the skin, though, and will also remove makeup, which is always a good thing. The serum is my favorite product. It's a bit milky, and it doesn't smell like hot-dog water. After only a few days, the glow is real, which to me is the hallmark of any good vitamin C serum. Lastly, the moisturizer. I am incredibly picky when it comes to moisturizers, and I'm into this one. It's a lightweight cream texture, but it really does glide onto the skin and feels like something that would be great for so many different skin types, not just mine. Plus, it smells amazing.
As someone who travels a lot, I love the idea of having this as my go-to skin-care set. All the sizes are carry-on friendly, and it's so nice having a routine laid out for you instead of having to constantly mix and match to find the right products. If you're someone who's new to skin care or looking to streamline their routine, I'd recommend the Covey set. Plus, it looks so good in my bathroom!
