Now, cleansing balms are usually everything I used to avoid in a cleanser. They are thick and normally leave a film-like feeling on my skin that's not ideal. This one, though, is different. It strikes the delicate balance of powerful yet gentle, and I can always rely on it to take off my makeup after a long day. It removes just about anything without that tight, film feeling.
