I'll admit that I've never been a huge fan of skin tints. Usually when I wear a complexion product, I go for formulas that provide medium to full coverage, but the last year has inspired me to pare back my beauty routine with minimal products in the name of "skinimalism," aka a "less is more" approach to applying makeup. Skinimalism has been a reigning trend in 2021, and even though I've already tried a handful of products that have made me a true believer in the trend, it's safe to say my favorite so far is the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint ($30), an all-new launch from the brand that's become my answer to lightweight makeup.

We already predicted earlier this year that skin tints would take over just in time for the spring and summer months since they're a reliable but more natural-looking alternative to heavier makeup. They're also great to use on days when you want to put something on your face ahead of a Zoom meeting (or two) without doing too much, so Eaze Drop couldn't have launched at a more perfect time. The product comes in 25 light, medium, and deep shades that you can purchase according to the Pro Filt'r Foundation shade you typically wear, and the formula is meant to hydrate and "blur" the skin without clogging pores or caking up.

I wore the medium deep shade 19 for a full day, and let me just tell you that by midday, I forgot I was even wearing anything on my face — that's how lightweight it was. This is one of those products that'd be perfect to wear once it starts getting warmer outside as it allows for your skin to breathe a bit even while it's underneath the products. The formula is also buildable, so if you find yourself needing just a little more coverage without it feeling too heavy or cakey, you can just apply more. One thing I will say, though: this skin tint definitely gives that dewy effect, so if you're someone who already has oily skin, you may want to follow it with a light powder.

With all that said, if you're looking for something lightweight that will give you a summer glow, then this is definitely one that you should throw in your shopping cart.
