Ringing in a new year calls for all kinds of sparkle. Sure, you could go for a glittery polish, but if you want to step outside the conventional glitz, why not step up your game with some twinkling foil? No matter how you play with it, you're sure to get a completely custom look on each finger!

Step 1
The first step is to polish your nails with the base color of your choice. I opted for a glossy black hue to really make the foils pop.

Step 2
Next comes placing the foils on your nails. Use tweezers to rip up the superthin sheets of foil. You want to create varying sizes, and don't worry about the shape — the more irregular the better!
Then, once you have your foil pieces, use the tweezers to place them onto your wet base coat. You can use your fingers or the opposite tip of the tweezers to ensure all the edges are adhered to your nails.

The Final Look
To seal everything in, I went with two coats of top coat. Now, let the compliments begin!
