Hilary Duff’s Color-Blocked Nails Give Major Cool-Girl Energy

According to Hilary Duff, boring manicures are "so yesterday." Duff was just spotted at the Fendi spring/summer 2026 show on Tuesday, September 24, and although her outfit was stunning, were our eyes on her brightly colored knee-length skirt and top? No. Were they on her makeup, done by Nikki Wolff, which featured a glowy base, a light brown smoky eye, and a pinky-brown lip? Gorgeous, but also no. Were they on her hair, which was styled by Rio Sreedharan, and featured soft, loose waves that framed her face? Not quite. They were on her fingers, which featured one of the sickest manicures we've seen on a celebrity in months.
Duff's long, oval-shaped manicure had each nail divided into two thick colors. Green, orange, white, silver, and even a couple of shades of red decorated her fingertips, forming one of the best color-blocked manicures we've seen, maybe ever.
This isn't the first time Duff has had a thick color-blocked manicure. In 2021, she shared a similar look, but the design only featured two colors. This time, Duff decided to step it up with at least six different shades.
If you're looking to copy Duff's nails (like we are), we went ahead and found some products that will help you recreate the look at home or at the salon. For the red shades, we'd suggest something like the Essie Vegan Nail Polish in Berry Naughty ($11) and the Essie Vegan Nail Polish in Forever Yummy ($11). Two weeks ago, Duff announced in an Instagram post that she was making new music, and we're predicting that the masses will be keeping a close eye on her until she graces us with whatever she's cooking up. In the meantime, although she hasn't yet dropped what is bound to be a banger (if "Come Clean" is any indication), she did grace us with some manicure inspiration that is 100 percent for the books.
