Gisele Bündchen has us seeing red. The supermodel graced the cover of Vogue Italia as we've never seen her before, debuting vibrant red hair and matching pencil-thin eyebrows, drawn on specifically for the publication's March issue. Her fiery monochromatic look — which featured a coordinating scarlet manicure, Kenneth Jay Lane drop earrings, and smoky eye makeup — was the perfect choice for her first cover shoot since separating from Tom Brady in October 2022.
According to Vogue Italia's Instagram, this particular cover aimed to explore the "journey through the thousand transformations of a woman who, usually portrayed naturally, is almost unrecognizable here." By this logic, Bündchen's avant-garde makeover served as a testament to her multifaceted nature, giving a peek into what the next chapter may hold.
Although it was difficult to tear away from her dramatic beauty transformation, Bündchen, styled by Ibrahim Kamara, kept the red going with an airy Valentino dress. Her other outfits were paired with different hairstyles in an attempt to show her "in a new guise." In addition to her red wig, Bündchen modeled voluminous orange hair with an Off-White strapless dress, as well as more traditional blond curls for a look with pink Givenchy lingerie.
After finalizing her divorce from Brady following 13 years of marriage, Bündchen has only just started to make public appearances again, dancing at Carnival in Brazil this week and attending a friend's anniversary dinner in December. This Vogue Italia cover is the most we've seen of Bündchen since the news broke, and if her bold beauty is any indication, it seems as though this could be the start of a brand new era.
