The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation formula really does look like my real skin, just without blemishes. It doesn't get cakey or crease, and it does a great job of covering dark spots without me having to apply layers and layers of product. I also love that it doesn't feel like I have much of anything on so I can use it when I'm not doing a full face. It looks like I don't have makeup on at all.

As someone with very sensitive skin, it's not uncommon for foundations to cause my skin to break out, leaving me with a pimple or two by the end of the day. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation is not one of them. It is easy to blend, I don't have to use much to cover any acne, and it lasts all day without a touch-up, even when it's extremely hot outside.

How you apply this liquid foundation is truly up to you. You can use your fingers, a brush, or a damp beauty blender — it all depends on your personal preference. I typically use a makeup sponge, and a little goes a long way. I place a dab on my forehead, each cheek, and chin, then blend out.

This is whenever I'm not going to an event or out to dinner with friends, or need to get dolled up for one reason or another, which is most days.
