What do flower sprinkles and Buckingham Palace have in common? Well, Meghan Markle, of course. If you watched "With Love, Meghan" on Netflix, you probably learned a lot of clever entertaining hacks, delicious recipes, and have a new-found love for lavender towels. Like me, you also may have been wondering the entire time: how does she get her skin to look so glowy and perfect?
Lucky for all of us, Markle dropped her full beauty routine on social media, sharing all of her must-have skin-care and makeup products. Judging by her selection, Markle is into minimalism, high-glow, dewy makeup that's effortless, chic, and accessible (just like the Duchess herself).
But of course, celebrities have access to the top beauty professionals in the business, so I set out to discover if her glowy makeup routine was easy to recreate at home for the average person (read: not a royal). Here are my honest thoughts about Markle's routine, and the new products I discovered that I now can't live without.

First, let's start with what I view as the most life-changing item on the list, the Tatcha Serum Stick ($49). I'm going to set the scene to describe how good this is. You know those nights when you do your skin-care routine, finish it off with your moisturizer, and then just 10 minutes later, you look in the mirror and notice dull, dry, and flaky skin again? That was basically me all winter long. Whenever I notice this happening to me, I apply a few swipes of the serum stick. It helps to lock in moisture before bed, and when I wake up in the morning, I still have dewy, hydrated skin, which is practically unheard of. But that's not all. This serum stick is also great for prepping for makeup, which brings me to the next product in Markle's routine.
The Duchess uses the No Makeup Makeup Foundation ($55), so I grabbed the shade Fair to put it to the test. I have to admit, this product intimidated me at first. I'm typically a tinted moisturizer girl, and even then, I add in some facial oil to make the finish even more dewy. But this product turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I found the key is to pat the product in with a flat foundation brush to help it melt into the skin and ensure it doesn't look cakey. The compact itself comes with a sponge for easy application, but I'd suggest reserving it for touch-ups. This foundation provides excellent buildable coverage and doesn't feel heavy on the skin.
Now, on to cheeks. Markle always appears to have a rosy glow, and it's all thanks to the RMS Beauty Luminizer ($40). To replicate that shine, I used it on the apples of my cheeks, the middle of my forehead, and the tip of my nose to catch even more light. This product is pocket-sized, so it's great for on-the-go touch-ups, and it's easy to apply directly where you want it with just your fingertips.
Markle also loves Saie's Super Glowy Gel ($28), which is a luminizer designed to be used either as a highlighter or on the entire face. I opted for the shade Sunglow, and used it as a bronzer around my cheekbones. It's the perfect base to define and sculpt the area without mattifying it. Layering this product, plus the one from RMS, made my skin look lit from within.

On the lips, Markle uses the Saint Jane Lip Oil ($28), which is a sheer, high-shine oil that has a subtle baby-pink shade. Despite the name, I'd say this is more of a gloss than an oil because it's a little thicker than your average oil. I absolutely love the shade, and think it's a universally flattering for all skin tones.
Lastly, Markle's favorite mascara is the Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara ($26). It's a great option for someone who enjoys natural-looking long, fluttery lashes. You can read our full review of the mascara here for more. I, however, used a few coats of the Tarte Tartlette XL Mascara ($28) that I had on hand.
Overall, there are so many beauty finds that Markle introduced me to that are now part of my mainstay products. If you want a glowy, high-shine complexion that shimmers on and off camera, her foundation and highlighter combos will certainly get the job done. Season two of "With Love, Meghan" has already been green-lit by Netflix, so I guess now that I've tried her beauty routine, it's time to make some of those delicious recipes to hold me over until we get more episodes.
