As an Alexander Wang fan, I couldn't wait to see his first Balenciaga fragrance ($25–$145) now that he is the brand's design head. Of course the art deco, hammered glass bottle is vanity candy, but what's inside won my heart over. The clean fragrance is sexy yet appropriate for daytime. Top notes include lily of the valley bell, violet green leaves accord, and green edamame accord. It rounds out with iris root, cedarwood heart, ambrette seeds, and cashmeran wood. And after every member of our team took a whiff, we all agreed there's nothing old lady or teenybopper about the scent — it's seriously sophisticated! —LL
