Zoom In on All the Stellar Hair and Makeup Looks From the AMAs

Holy bun! Selena piled her hair into an oversize chignon for the AMAs red carpet. Her makeup artist, Jake Bailey, opted for a berry lip color and simple gray shadow for the red carpet.

The star of Kylie's red carpet look wasn't her lips (for once). Makeup artist Rob Scheppy actually played up her eyes with Eyeko Lash Wardrobe ($22). The corner clusters were applied after curling the lashes and one coat of Black Magic Mascara ($24).

Khloé obviously doesn't believe in the sombré trend. She showed off her high-contrast dip dye, which she paired with a metallic-tinged smoky eye.

Brown eyes are sometimes considered blah, but Kendall amped up her eye makeup using a bevy of silver metallic shadows. Meanwhile, her hair was styled superstraight for the AMAs red carpet.

For her night out at the AMAs, Julianne slicked back her short crop and played up her bronzed skin tone, which only complemented her bright orange Zuhair Murad gown.

Taylor took home the biggest prize at the AMAs, the Dick Clark Award for Excellence, rocking her shoulder-grazing bob in a smooth, airy blowout. Her blue eyes were set off with a dusting of bronze, sparkling shadows.

Jennifer is the queen of perfectly placed highlighter, and the AMAs red carpet was no different. This time her signature glow was accented with a brown eye look, a high-shine gloss, and brushed-back curls.

For the red carpet, Nicki ditched her superlong curly wig for a blunt black bob. Her signature bubblegum-pink lip and over-the-top lashes still made an appearance, though.

Jenny Cho wanted to create a playful updo to go with Dianna's sleek Marchesa gown, so she gave the actress's hair lots of texture using Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Weightless Dry Shampoo ($3). Cho finished off the style with three elastic headbands crisscrossed near the hairline.

To prep Dianna's lids for this dramatic smoky eye look, Georgie Eisdell applied Kiehl's Super Multi-Correcting Eye Opening Serum ($48). Then Eisdell layered on Chanel Illusion D'Ombre ($36) shadow in Fantasme (a frosty silver) and Diapason (a deep plum).

With her jet-black Vera Wang gown, Lucy was embracing her goth goddess side. Makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan layered Mark Lipclick Full Color Lipstick ($11) in Whiney and Hot & Spicy over Chanel lip liner ($29) in Rouge Noir to achieve this custom, vampy lip hue.

Becky loves to pucker up her pout on the red carpet. So makeup artist Tonya Brewer brought attention to Becky's best feature using CoverGirl Colorlicious Lipstick in Enchantress Blush topped with Lip Lava in Look It's Lava (both shades will be available this December).

Hairstylist Adir Abergel created this one-sided style for Elizabeth at the AMAs. The over-the-shoulder style showed off her blunt cut and fashionable earrings. Her neon orange lip was matched perfectly to her Peter Pilotto ensemble.

Hairstylist Richard Marin created Taylor's waves by plaiting the entire head and clamping each braid with the Remington T-Studio Silk Slim Straightener ($25). He finished off the style with a mix of dry shampoo and hairspray to get both volume and hold.

As for Taylor's makeup for the night, Georgie Eisdell used Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfecter ($35) as a primer before applying BB cream all over the face. To copy Taylor's bold brows, use Laura Mercier Brow Definer ($20) in Soft.

Rita's fashion-forward beauty look at the AMAs was something straight off the Fashion Week runways. She matched her yellow shadow to her canary-colored dress, applied layers of false lashes, and finished it all off with an architectural topknot.

Fergie's extralong blond waves were the center of attention on the AMAs red carpet. Andy Lecompte used Wella LuxeOil Reconstructive Elixir ($48) before blow-drying the singer's strands. He then used a 1.5-inch curling iron to create the slight waves.
