Corporate-Approved Beauty Advice From Girl Bosses We Admire

The role model: Tayla Colton, director of programs at Keep a Child Alive, a nonprofit organization that supports community-based HIV projects in Africa and India
Deskside beauty must have: Tayla spends most of her time away from a traditional office, traveling from one country to the next. But she always packs Evian spray ($21 for 3) and Burt's Bees lip balm on the plane (in addition to her two glasses of red wine and compression socks for the flight).
Confidence-boosting secret: "Being around badass women that are confident. I think that energy just creates more confident energy. I get to work with a lot of doctors and nurses, and young people and young women who live with HIV positively and with such strength. Their confidence makes me confident."
Best advice (ever): "'Always paddle your own canoe' and 'always take the high road.' My mom always told me that as a young girl when I faced challenges and people picked on me."
