We can still remember getting our first manicure as a little girl. It was at a sleepover, and we had to be very careful not to smudge the paint (which didn't really work because we were like 8). Now, little girls playing nail salon can use authentic polish without mothers hovering. Kid Licks has created three edible lacquers to feed the next generation of beauty addicts — literally.

We know you've heard of 5-free brands, but these colors are also vegan, cruelty-free, and non-GMO. The polishes are made with fruits and vegetables and are easily removed with water (or your child's saliva). But with coloring agents like beet, be careful around the carpet! Store these products in the refrigerator, and pull them out for the next kindergarten playdate. Your child can even test out a DIY manicure. Hey, if we'd started at the age of 2, maybe we'd actually be able to paint a smudge-free set now . . .
