These Are the Must-Have Beauty Products Editors Are Buying in January

I love Benefit Cosmetics, but I was initially skeptical of this product. Tinted eyelash primer? Who needs that? If I put anything on my lashes, it's mascara, and if I'm using a primer, nobody is going to see its color after I apply my mascara anyway. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by They're Real Tinted Primer ($24).

Here's the deal: the primer is a brown shade, and it's light and fluffy enough that you can slap some on to run errands without feeling made up. Many of my friends had no idea I was wearing any product at all on my lashes because the finish is so natural. It helped accentuate my lashes — almost like a professional tint that you can wash off. (It's great for getting all those little blonde lashes.) I especially love that you can apply mascara over it whenever you'd like without fear of clumping. It acts like padding around your lashes to make your fringe look that much better.
