From her intricate braids to gorgeous waves, Blake Lively and her mane are the ultimate embodiment of #hairgoals. We've often turned to her past looks in times of coif crisis for inspiration. And with Valentine's Day fast approaching, we were feeling a little desperate for something new to do with our 'do. Thankfully for us, Blake stepped out at an event for her husband's new movie Deadpool rocking a beautiful, copy-worthy style.

One of her go-to stylists, Rod Ortega, created the look, which he described as "slightly tousled and chic." He even shared the products he used, and if you don't already have them at home, you can snag them at the drugstore for under $30! This is the perfect style for date night: it's polished, pretty, and effortlessly sexy, and you can use the money you would have spent on a blowout on a Valentine's Day gift. Score! Read on to learn how to re-create it at home.

On damp, clean hair, apply L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Blow Out Heat Spray ($5) and comb through, then flip your head over and blow-dry, focusing on the roots. Once they are completely dry, flip your hair back and use a round brush to finish your blowout. This is when you should part your strands — try a deep side part like Blake's for a retro-glam look.

After you've finished your blowout, use a one- to two-inch barreled curling iron and wrap inch-wide sections around it to create loose waves. Clip up each curl to help it set faster, and spray on L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Lock It Fine Control Hair Spray ($5) to strengthen the coil's hold.

Once your hair has cooled, brush out the curls with a paddle brush for a more casual, moveable style. Tuck your hair behind your ear (like Blake!) and finish with L'Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hair Spray ($15).
