If you're not the traditional stars and stripes type but want to wear a Fourth of July manicure, try a geometric nail art look featuring red, white, and blue. Essie celebrity manicurist Michelle Saunders created this look that is anything but cheesy. While the straight lines are reminiscent of classic stripes, the fact that they are going in different directions makes them artsy and fashion forward.

"Textiles and fabrics inspire me to create unique one of a kind nail art," she told us via email. "I was inspired by a beautiful printed summer dress with a mix of traditional bold colors (red and blue) and a bright coral with straight and angular lines."
