If it seems like there's always something new coming out of South Korea's skin care and beauty world, that's because, well, there is. The country is well regarded for its steady stream of innovations — even if that means spreading snail mucin on your skin or developing antibacterial products using centipedes — and we're grateful for everything that makes its way over to the States. You can expect to see plenty of new stuff launching in the Fall of 2016, including an essence made from birch sap instead of water, a cleansing stick that utilizes actual leaves as an exfoliating ingredient, a sheet mask made with bee venom, and a lip stain that'll give you high shine and major color payoff. We even spoke to Korean beauty experts to give us the details on many of these new products.

Clio Peripera Vivid Tint Water

Clio Peripera Vivid Tint Water

Peripera Vivid Tint Water ($8) is the turbo version of the brand's Tint Water. While the latter gives you a more mild color sheen, the new Vivid Tints provide a serious douse of color and high shine with minimal transfer. There are five different colors that cover the orange to red spectrum, and the formulation is thin and water-like. Plus, they come in an adorable juice carton-inspired package.

Too Cool For School Za Sitkoza Cleansing Gel
Sephora

Too Cool For School Za Sitkoza Cleansing Gel

Too Cool For School launched the Za cleansing range in mid-August at Sephora, and there's a lot to be excited about. Za means "to sleep," so it makes sense that the line consists of seven pieces to help prepare your skin before hitting the hay. The Za Sitkoza Cleansing Gel ($20) is a 100 percent oil-free formula that hydrates the skin while washing. It contains cherry blossom extract, an anti-inflammatory, and damascus rose extract, which helps soothe skin.

Enature Birch Juice Hydro Essence Skin

While you might not be familiar with the Enature brand yet, you can expect to see more of it in the coming months. Enature is known for incorporating natural, innovative ingredients into its products. For example, one of its newest lines utilizes birch sap in place of water.

"Birch sap is great for the skin because it's hydrating, has tons of antioxidants, and helps to brighten and improve skin texture," says Charlotte Cho, founder of Soko Glam, where the product will launch in September.

The Birch Juice Hydro Essence Skin ($25) actually contains 78 percent birch sap, so you can see that the brand isn't messing around when it comes to this star ingredient.

This cushion BB cream is infused with ginseng, an ingredient that's been used in Korean skin care over the ages. Huxley Anti-Gravity Cream and Oil Essence

Huxley Anti-Gravity Cream and Oil Essence

Glow Recipe, a Korean skin care commerce site that specializes in "natural, harsh-free beauty products," is curating a new brand called Huxley, as in the writer Aldous Huxley who wrote the famous novel Brave New World. First to arrive on the site are Huxley's Anti-Gravity Cream and Oil Essence, both of which are ideal for those with sensitive skin in need of hydration.

The brand prominently features prickly pear seed oil from the Sahara desert. It is a very hydrating oil that's high in vitamin E and absorbs quickly. "Since prickly pear is a type of cactus, it is naturally able to retain a high amount of water and moisture, which then translates to how it works on skin," says Cathy Wang, Glow Recipe's content manager.

Ladykin Ice Cold Mask With Bee Venom

In fact, Pony has a popular line of cosmetics and just launched a set of super pigmented liquid eye shadows. The Intense Eye Tints ($15) range features five colors, including a rosy pink, plum shimmer, gold, mauve, and gray-meets-brown sheen. They're applied with a doe-foot applicator, which is a wand with a broad sponge tip at the top.

Neogen Green Tea Cleansing Stick

Neogen's Green Tea Cleansing Stick ($25, available in September) is part of the increasingly popular skin care category of "cleansing sticks." This new product is different from other cleansing sticks because it utilizes actual green tea leaves to help gently exfoliate the skin. It also has a low pH of five to help keep skin healthy and balanced.

"It's made with oils, so it removes makeup really well, and serves as an almost two-in-one double cleansing stick," says Cho.

Belif Aqua Bomb Sheet Mask

With nearly 1000 five-star reviews at Sephora, Belif's The True Cream Aqua Bomb has quickly reached cult favorite status among skin care aficionados. Step one is a bamboo charcoal sheet mask, which utilizes fermented black tea extract, charcoal and black bee propolis to suck out pollutants and debris from pores. Once the skin has been purified in step one, apply the second mask, which locks in moisture and visibly tightens your skin.
