Zumba Has a Line of Beauty Products — and They're Totally Amazing

When I attended a press event held by Zumba, the last thing I expected was to learn about beauty products.

I was there to take a Strong by Zumba class, the brand's new music-led interval-training workout. At the end of the awesome HIIT-based session, I received a small sampling of some Zumba Beauty items. Until that moment, I was completely clueless that the company offered makeup. But I'm so glad that I know about the formulas now, because they're some of the best I've ever tried.

You see, I have a penchant for longwear makeup, so I was quite intrigued by the fact that the entire range of products was designed to be worn through a workout without budging. While I have yet to rock them to Zumba, I believe they'll live up to this claim. I applied Zumba Beauty Matte Liquid Lipstick in Red-y For Class at 9 a.m. At 8 p.m. — after two meals and three coffees — it still looked fresh and flawless. Once the fluid, supershimmery Glitter Eye Shadow in I Love Gold dried, I couldn't rub off any of the sparkle. And the liquid eyeliner lasted through a shower (and created intensely precise lines!).

It may not occur to you to wear makeup to a fitness class, but try it for your next Zumba session. Wearing a dramatic eye or a vibrant lip will help you fully embody the carefree, festive spirit of the workout . . . or just make you feel prettier as you sweat buckets to Pitbull's greatest hits.

If you're not impressed yet, the staying power isn't even the greatest quality of these products. That honor goes to the price point.
