See a First Look at Swatches From the Amanda Steele x ColourPop Collaboration

The day after Christmas is usually a drag, but ColourPop is giving you something to look forward to this year: the launch of its collaboration with influencer Amanda Steele on Dec. 26. You likely know Amanda from her YouTube page, MakeupbyMandy24, and she also has over 6.5 million followers across her social media pages.

Amanda is fronting a campaign, which you can see first here, for three collections. This includes three Super Shock Shadows ($5 each). Expect a glittery lavender called Ignition, a shimmery pastel pink titled Steele, and a multicolored glimmering turquoise dubbed Hydroplane. There are also three lip colors ($6 each) with different finishes: Jiffy, a cool-toned pinky nude Ultra Satin Lip; Hack, a warm-toned pink with glitter as part of the Ultra Glossy Lip line; and Chaps, a rich grape Matte Lip.

The biggest launch is the Weekend Warrior matte eye shadow palette ($18). It features a brand-new powder formula for the brand in four shades: Throttle (cool-toned silvery ivory in a Satin finish), Harley (a light muted gray in a Matte finish), Chopper (a deep smoky plum in a Matte finish), and Burnout (a rich deep indigo in a Matte finish).

"People have been asking for pressed powders from us for a long time, like most of new launches, it was based on fan feedback!" cofounder and president of ColourPop Laura Nelson told POPSUGAR via email. "Going into creating powders we stuck with our roots — amazing products at a great price. ColourPop has always been about amazing formulas, using high end pearls and pigments with high payout, all for a price everyone can afford."

According to Nelson, the best way to apply the powders is with brushes "for optimal blending." And her favorite colors right now are Throttle and Harley. "I've been wearing a combo of the four shades almost every day," she added. "It's a new take on a smokey eye and it's a way for me to do something a little outside of my comfort zone with color while still remaining neutral."
