DIY it:
- Create an imperfect, deep side part in dry hair, combing hair back with your fingers into a low ponytail and securing with a clear band (such as a Scunci Clear Poly Band, $3). You can further roughen up the look by making circular movements with the palms of your hands at the temples and the back of the pony.
- Loop pony into the style of your choice (from a tight bun to a looser knot), securing it with large bobby pins that match the color of your hair.
- Finish the look with a decorative hairpin (such as the Scunci Real Style Charming Pin, $5).
