In case you were wondering, no, Selena Gomez hasn't forgotten about that time Stefano Gabbana called her "ugly" on Instagram. Back in June, the Italian designer commented on a photo of the singer with "è proprio brutta," which roughly translates to "she's so ugly." Gomez chose not to respond at the time. But three months later, she's found a subtle — but also brilliant — way to clap back at Gabbana, as she just stepped out during New York Fashion Week wearing a hairpin that spells out the word "UGLY."

Gomez was photographed out and about in New York on Tuesday night. Her hair was pulled into a braided high ponytail, while the bedazzled hair clip sat on the right side of her head. The star hasn't made any comments about her statement-making accessory, but one can only assume that the piece is a direct response to the extremely hurtful comment that Gabbana made about her a few months back.
