Notice a trend? In years past, we've been inundated with brow questions, but this year, it was all about lashes. We noticed this trend on the site, too: you guys love reviews about mascaras, faux lashes, and lash treatments. How to remove individual lashes piqued people's interest this year. So how do you do it correctly?
It can be a little tough, given individual lashes are meant to look more natural than strip lashes and thus blend into your natural lashes. The last thing you want to do is rip out your own eyelashes. (We're skeeved out just typing that.) For an extra gentle touch, remove your eye makeup with a gentle eye-makeup remover. If it's oil-based, the lashes should slide right off. Another method is the double cleanse: rinse your face, and wash it normally, which will loosen up the lashes. Then go in with an oil or gel cleanser that's safe to use for your eyes to remove them completely.
