It's not as dire as the whole Colton-jumping-the-fence thing, but The Bachelor alum Rachel Lindsay's wedding to Bryan Abasolo is coming right up — you know, in between moving to Miami and all the other projects she's working on — and she's been doing some planning.

"Years ago, I would have said my perfect wedding is walking to the courthouse," she told POPSUGAR. "Then, the shows played out in the most public way possible. Now I want it to be more private. It's not televised. Originally, I was very into that idea, but now that we have had a relationship for a year and a half offscreen, I don't want a production."

What that looks like isn't so cut-and-dried ("the vision is to really just bring both our cultures together," she said), but Lindsay does have a specific beauty look in mind. Keeping reading to find out who's behind her wedding mood board — plus why she's one of the few people in Bachelor Nation who won't push those SugarBear gummies, her biggest pet peeve about Abasolo, and more.

In a word: she didn't have one before going on The Bachelor — and now she does. "I went to the Bachelor mansion with a few things: mascara, a little tube of Vaseline, some lip gloss, and setting powder," she said. "That's all I brought with me. Luckily the girls were very helpful in helping me find a beauty routine. I never had one. On the show, it's because of the girls' multiple makeup bags that I actually now know how to apply makeup. Which was really nice of them to do, because technically I was their 'competition.'"

"Now, I definitely have a routine I follow every day, and I don't need help shopping [for products]," she laughed.

"Makeup-wise, I always thought I would go with a bold look. But I have to say I was very inspired by Meghan Markle's makeup look on her wedding day. It was understated and classy, and that's exactly what I want. I want something natural-looking, because my go-to is a bold red lip and dark, smoky eyes. I don't think I'm going to go for that; I'm going to lighten it up — maybe do some nice highlighter like J Lo."

Her Thoughts on Botox? "I've considered doing skin treatments before the wedding, but all I have done is a facial," said Lindsay. "I'm like, Should I get Botox? I've thought about it. I haven't actually taken the steps to do it, just because I've always wanted to do things the natural way. That's just my preference."

You've probably seen the onslaught of Bachelor alumni pushing many of the same beauty brands on Instagram [SugarBearHair Hair Vitamin Gummies ($10), anyone?] One person you won't see jumping on the bandwagon: Lindsay. "I'm not knocking them — I understand it," she said. "When you're on The Bachelor, you do not get paid as a contestant. I was very fortunate that my job paid me while I was on the show. I went back to work in between The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Then after The Bachelorette, I was still practicing as an attorney, so I didn't have to seek out opportunities that maybe other people do. This has allowed me to already have an income flow and I only partner with products that I actually believe in and use."

Speaking of partnerships, she teamed up with one of the brands she used frequently on the show: Vaseline. "It's one of the only things I had with me, so it felt natural," Lindsay said. "Now that my skin is dry from all the traveling and stress, I use it even more. I even put the Vaseline Petroleum Jelly ($4) on my feet and put socks on over that to lock in that moisture."

"Bryan steals everything in the bathroom that I use," she laughed. "Everything — well, except for my makeup, but he grabs my lotion, my hair products. He has no shame. It's one of my pet peeves because then mine is gone!"

Not that she isn't guilty of a little theft now and again herself. "Bryan uses the Mad Hippie Skin Care Vitamin C Serum ($26)," Lindsay said. "I had never heard of it. It comes in a little bottle you can buy at Whole Foods. I actually steal that from him and I love it. Their Vitamin A is also good — it smooths everything out, while the Vitamin C kind of tones everything down. It's just good in every way."
