One thing about 2019 was for sure: French manicures made a strong comeback. For 2020, the look is here to stay.

The nail art trend that was first popular in the early '00s has been seen on countless A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Awkwafina, and Hailey Baldwin. Some celebrities even put a 2020 spin on their french tips by combining the look with other recent beauty trends like neon hues and negative space. Others opted for the traditional version of the french manicure, which is a combination of a beige base with white tips that are equal parts cool and nostalgic.
