Rico Nasty isn't playing around when it comes to her bold and colorful beauty looks. In a Vogue makeup tutorial, the 22-year-old rapper walked us through her stage-ready beauty routine, and the highlighter was plentiful. The singer has been known to work multicolored hair and bright outfits, so it's no surprise her makeup preference is just as bold. While Nasty pointed out that she does love using darker "goth" colors on her face, she also loves glitter and shine, hence the hot pink highlighter up and down the sides of her face — and she definitely pulled it off.

Nasty began her makeup tutorial with a quick skincare routine, during which she used products like Makeup Revolution Star Water Gel Primer ($11, originally $15), Anastasia Beverly Hills Priming Oil ($45), and an elixir from Pink Label Cosmetics. After a quick face massage to work in all the oils, she applied her Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation ($40) and moved on to her Nars Biscuit Soft Matte Complete Concealer ($30).

"When the light hits me, I want people to have to look away."

Nasty also used Fenty Beauty Sangria Sunset Highlighter ($36) and Huda Beauty Blondie Setting Powder ($34), which she swore "smells like cookies."

"When the light hits me, I want people to have to look away," Nasty said after applying her highlighter, and the glitter was definitely popping. The singer went on to use the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water ($32) on a color palette to apply a few faux freckles to each cheek. She finished the look by using the Milk Makeup Star-Shaped Tattoo Stamp ($12) on either side of her eyebrows. "I never really was crazy about my natural face, so doing makeup and constantly being able to change and look different every day I feel has become somewhat of a coping mechanism in helping me to love myself and helping me to feel beautiful," Nasty added.
