With New York Fashion Week in full swing, model Winnie Harlow is here to share the ultimate afterparty look, and her Vogue makeup tutorial includes a few skincare secrets that are too good not to try. Despite having to don numerous beauty looks as part of her career, Harlow has a couple tricks up her sleeve to keep her skin looking fresh and clean.

"We have to create looks," she advised. "We gotta do runway and all that, and your skin isn't made for makeup but prep the skin and prepare it for war."

Harlow's first tip involves using the Clarisonic Cleanser Kit ($199) on her face every other day, so as not to overexfoliate her skin. Twice a month, Harlow also mixes together a combination of manuka honey, Aztec clay, and apple cider vinegar until it takes on a paste-like consistency and applies the homemade face mask with a fork.

After the mask dries (about 20 minutes), she rinses it off and uses a variety of products to create a fresh-faced and versatile makeup look worthy of an NYFW afterparty. Some of the products Harlow uses include the Avene Hydrance LIGHT Hydrating Emulsion ($32), Nivea Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Night Care Cream ($10), Becca Ultimate Coverage Concealer ($32), MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Eye Shadow ($22), KKW x Winnie Eye Shadow Palette ($49), Huda Beauty Obsessions Eye Shadow Palette ($27), and Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer in Caramel Cutie ($30). When it comes to lip liners, she often switches between MAC Lip Pencil in Chestnut ($18) and Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Liner in Foxy Brown ($17).

The model later revealed that she applies Visene eye drops to the white parts of her skin to reduce any redness that might appear, and she uses LUMIFY eye drops in her actual eyes to make them appear whiter. As a friendly reminder, Harlow also pointed out that you should always be sure to blend your real lashes with your falsies when applying mascara.
