When I heard that Funko and Disney were teaming up for a villains-themed cosmetics line, I knew I needed to get my hands on it right away. Not only did I learn that Cruella de Vil (my personal fashion icon, minus the puppy murders) would be the inspiration behind several of the makeup products, but I currently have at least four different Funko Pop figurines on my desk right now.

Each of the four Disney villains featured in the collection inspired their own makeup palette, brush set, lip gloss, and liquid eyeliner. I selected one in each category to test out and headed to my vanity with the Cruella Blush and Bronzer Palette ($24), Ursula High Shine Gloss ($12), Maleficent Eyeliner ($10), and the Evil Queen Cosmetic Bag & Brush Set ($24).

After tearing open the packaging, I discovered that each product was decorated in a metallic colored Funko-art head of one of the famous bad girls.

Funko x Disney Villains Makeup Collection: What I Tried

Funko x Disney Villains Makeup Collection: What I Tried

I started out with the massive Cruella Blush and Bronzer Palette ($24), and chose the biggest brush from the Evil Queen Brush Set ($24) to apply it with. I found the brushes surprisingly soft and loved the small poisoned apple pattern on the handle and purple bristles. While the palette does have a fairly large mirror, the 3D effect makes it impossible to keep from jiggling while on the table. I thought the powders inside were pretty, but the bronzer is light even for my fair-medium complexion, which means many people will be unable to use it. If you're purchasing these items as a huge Disney fan, however, I suggest picking up a palette since they are by far the cutest.

I was very pleased with the quality of both the Maleficent Eyeliner ($10) and the Ursula High Shine Lip Gloss ($12). While I don't normally wear purple eyeliner, this one went on smoothly in one layer and was super pigmented. The Ursula Lip Gloss wasn't sticky, and I plan on using it frequently for its high-shine finish and light shimmer.

Overall, I think this collection is a total win for anyone who loves Disney or Funko. Check out the rest of the products below!
