That makeup Hayes is referring to was bold in both shape and color. Makeup artist Miranda Joyce painted bright pink straight across each eye (which was the fuchsia shade from the MAC It's Designer Palette ($48)), adding a coral paint along the inner corners to create dimension and an electric ombré effect.
